Black Joy
Let’s be honest, many of us are not ok right now. And that is ok. The year 2020 has been an emotional rollercoaster, with seemingly more downs than ups. Breathe
Sometimes we become so stressed and consumed with worry that we forget how to do the very thing that keeps us alive. Breathe. Do not forget to breathe.

Shameless
I grew up in the church. You could say it was a typical, southern black church–full of rules, regulations, and its own code of ethics. These rules initiated what would take years of therapy, introspection, and new environments to overcome.
Dominican, Republic: Outreach360
During spring break I had the opportunity to go abroad for a service trip Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic where I participated in Outreach360.
I forgive you.
